Who we are
Kaafiso livestock marketing cooperative is one of the leading cooperatives in the Somali regional state of Ethiopia. It has been established in January 2021 as a livestock business

Mission

To empower pastoralist communities by providing sustainable market access, improving livestock quality, and enhancing livelihoods.

    Services

  • Collective Marketing:
    • Bulk purchasing of livestock from members
    • Negotiating with buyers to achieve better prices
    • Facilitating the sale of livestock at local, regional, and international markets
  • Quality Improvement:
    • Providing training on animal husbandry practices
    • Supporting veterinary services and disease control programs
  • Capacity Building:
    • Conducting training programs on business management, financial literacy, and cooperative principles
    • Providing technical assistance to members
